So...we have a 'What are you listening to?' thread and I figured that we should have this, as well. So start posting/recommending the book you're readíng.
I'm reading 'Magic Castle' by Carole Smith. It's a true story about a boy, Carole takes in as a foster kid. His name is Alex (not his real name) and he's been abused in the worst way possible and because of the horrors of what he's been through, he makes various personalities to deal with different situations. So the book's about him, his multiple personalities and how he works hard on remembering all of the abuse and how he intergrates all of his personalities. It's a really good book, despite the fact that he's been through the most horrible things, because it's so fascinating how the human mind works to protect itself from horrors. Go read it!

I loveeee you for starting this thread ^^ I love reading and recommending books ^^.
Well, I'm reading a book called something like "Alone With The Enemy" it's translated to Spanish (It's originally Ukrainian) so I don't know the translation in English.
It's all about a war. A General from Germany takes the son of one of his old friends after he passed away, a 21 year old. But the kid grew up in.... Russia?.... haha I can't recall. Well, the point is that this kid pretends to fight for Germany, when all he wants is for Germany to loose. I'm still in the middle of the book. I haven't had the chance to finish it. But it's a really good book. It's written by Yury Dold-Mijáilik.
It's a really tick book and I tend to read when I'm in the middle of a boring class haha so... I don't know when I'll finish reading it xD.

Yay, I'm a little geek too. I love reading. <3 Currently, I am reading Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill. It's about an aged rockstar, Jude, who collects all sorts of grotesque and weird things like videos of people getting killed, occult stuff, old "manuals" about how to burn witches, etc. And one day, he finds a ghost for sale on the internet and buys it and that's when nuts hits the fan, so to say. It's really creepy. And when I say that, I mean it. Haha. I'm known to get the creeps when I watch scary movies but I rarely jump when reading something scary. But this is just...whoa! Let's just say reading it alone at night isn't a good idea.

Anyway, it sounds interesting.... kinda different of everything I've read so far.

Haha. I know. I keep forgetting to add that is has nothing to do with Kurt Cobain though Nirvana gets a mention in the book. And so does Trent Reznor. <3

yay, i like reading too! I'm reading a book called 'Shadow Warrior' by Chris Bunch. Its a book about a guy called Joshua Wolfe who is basically like a contract killer sort of guy... and im only about a third of the way into the book, it huge. Like 700 pages I know its also about aliens called Al'ar and he was captured by them in the past.. its a sort of action book. I think its based on a movie, and if its not, it should be turned into a movie!!

I've decided to start reading Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho I've already read The Alchemist and thought he was a good writer, he's always giving advices and stuff. My mom bought this book for her, but it looks interesting, it's about a girl that has everything she can have but one day decides to kill herself. I can't wait to read what is all about. It isn't that long and the font is kinda big (nice for blind people as myself). So I might read it in two days xD.

Veronika Decides to Die is one of my favorite books ever! I can read it a thousand times and now get bored with it. I'm in love with that book.

I'm reading Tuesday's Child by Louise Bagshawe (sp?) right now. It's about a girl who's absolutely not girlish, works for a games magazine (with crappy wage), fangirls over an Oasis setlist, etc. And then she loses her job, is kicked out of her flat because her flatmate gets married and finds she has to change into an actual girl to get a proper job.
It's pretty much chick lit but it's nice to read something nice and light-hearted for once.

I just finished reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer and right now I'm reading New Moon of the Twilight series. They're pretty cool books, it's kind of a love story between a Vampire and a Human girl.
