Sasha woke up screaming, the next morning.
‘Chester!! Don’t!!’ She screamed, and woke herself with her scream. She sat straight up in bed, and looked around.
Chester woke up, just as fast and looked at Sasha with a scared expression on his face.
‘What the f**k!’ He exclaimed, but immediately calmed down, when he saw the look on Sasha’s face.
She was shaking and desperately trying to catch her breath, as she slowly figured out that it had just been a dream.
He wrapped his arms around her and she jumped a little as he did. ‘What’s wrong, hotness?’ He asked with a low voice.
‘Man. I just had the worst f**king nightmare, ever.’ She said, wiping the sweat off her forehead while she clung to him as if he would vanish if she let go.
‘I can see that. Wow, you’re all sweating and shaking. Tell me about it.’ He said, already having an idea what the nightmare may have been about.
‘Well, it’s kind of stupid and has no place in the real world. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, having dreams like that, man. f**ked up.’ She said as if she had already told him, while shaking her head.
‘Just tell me. It’s obvious that it was about me, seeing as you screamed my name when you woke up. What did I do?’ He asked, now a little nervous about actually hearing it.
‘It wasn’t really coherent, because one minute we were hanging out with Mike and Anna, and the next, I walked in on you and you had a needle in your arm. You hadn’t injected whatever was in that needle, yet…but you were about to and that’s when I screamed. I looked like I was 8 months pregnant, too.’ She said with tears in her eyes.
Sasha knew about his drug addiction and everything else he’d gone through in the earlier years of his life and of Linkin Park’s career and she was always a little worried that he’d go back on that path, even though she’d die before admitting it.
‘Oh Sasha.’ Chester sighed and felt extremely sad. He had not known that she was worried about him like that.
‘There’s no need for you to worry about that, babe. First of all, I’ve never shot up anything in my life. I’m afraid of needles, remember? Second, why would I go down that path now that I’m with you and we’re having a baby? I’ve never been happier in my entire life, than I am right now. Linkin Park is in a really good place right now and so am I. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I can’t even imagine myself doing any of that nuts ever again. I’m done with it, hotness.’ He kissed her hair.
‘I know. I don’t even know where a dream like comes from, man. Maybe it has something to do with my own insecurities. I mean, I was obviously pregnant in the dream and then you abandoned me in the worst way you possibly could. With drugs. Maybe I’m afraid of you abandoning me?’ She asked.
‘I don’t know. I’m not a d**n shrink, although I’ve been to enough to almost have a degree, myself. But yeah, it does sound like you’re afraid of this whole pregnancy and of me running off, in one way or another.’ He speculated.
They lay back down, to try to calm down a little. Sasha couldn’t really shake the dream. It had seemed so real.
‘I know it’s still early in the pregnancy, but I’m sure it’ll get better in time. But why haven’t you told me that you walked around, thinking about the whole drug thing?’ Chester couldn’t get over the fact that she had been worried about this and not told him about it.
‘Because it’s not something I think about every single day. Except when you’re on tour. But I didn’t want you to think that I was suspecting you of anything, because I never have. I’ve just been afraid because I don’t know what would trigger you to go back, if anything.’ She tried to explain.
He sighed.
‘I don’t know what would trigger it, in the past. Probably just feeling out of place and like no one cared anyway. Loneliness could also do it. I don’t know, it was just a lot of different feelings, but I’ve learned to handle them and besides…I’ve not felt any of that, since I met you. Well, maybe a little after you left the tour but obviously not enough to make me think of drugs. I can’t remember the last time, I thought about it, actually.’ He said, trying to make her see that there was nothing to worry about.
‘Well, that’s nice to know. I don’t think I’ll ever stop worrying a little, though. But yeah, enough about that crap. I don’t want to think about it, unless I have to.’ She gave him a worried look
‘You don’t. And I’ll come talk to you, if I ever get those feelings again, I promise.’ He reassured her.
‘On a lighter, but different note, it’s great to have you home again. Why didn’t you wake me up, when you got in? I haven’t heard you at all.’ She said, as she started running her index finger up and down his chest and stomach.
‘You didn’t hear me? That’s weird, because you talked to me, when I crawled into bed.’ He grinned, feeling the blood slowly leaving his head.
‘But yeah, it was 3am and I thought it was too late…or early, to wake you up. Plus, you looked so cute, sleeping that I didn’t have the heart to wake you.’ He said.
‘I talked to you? Wow, what did I say?’ She couldn’t remember hearing him come in, much less that she had spoken to him.
She leaned over him and started licking his nipples.
He gasped and bent his back a little, while trying to concentrate on speaking.
‘Well…you said…..that I had…..promised to wake….you up.’ He tried to sound unaffected by her touch, but knew he wasn’t doing a very good job.
‘Oh, but you did promise me.’ She said, smiling against his stomach while she removed his boxers and kissed his thighs.
‘I did.’ He started, but then he gave up on speaking as she ran her tongue up and down his length.
She smiled against him, when she heard him let out a moan of pleasure. And then she took him in her mouth.
She gave him one of the best blowjobs, he had ever been given in his life and when the orgasm made his body tense up, he thought he had died and gone to heaven.
He looked down at her, as she swallowed and looked up into his eyes. She planted little kisses on his stomach and chest, as she moved up and found his lips.
He kissed her hungrily and then felt a little bad for just being on the receiving end of the show.
‘Give me a few minutes, hotness and I’ll make it up to you.’
‘No worries, bunny. This one was for you. No charge.’ She laughed and lay down in his arms again.
After two months of waiting, Sasha’s house was finally sold to a couple with a teenage girl, who was a little star struck, when she found out that Chester had been living in the house she was now moving into. Sasha and Chester packed up all of her stuff, and had most of it sent to L.A. before they would go, themselves.
Sasha was starting to show a little, having what looked like a little ball on her stomach and Chester could not stop touching it.
They left for the airport early in the morning and Sasha couldn’t wait to go back to his house and start her new life.
Chester had seemed a little on edge all morning and she had asked several times, what was wrong but he had just said ‘nothing’ and gone back to whatever magazine, he was reading.
In the car, on their way to his house Chester started shaking a little and Sasha got really worried. He didn’t look like he was sick or anything, but she really wondered what was going on with him.
‘Are you ever going to tell me what’s wrong with you?’ She said, knowing somewhere deep inside that he wouldn’t tell her. Not yet, anyway.
‘Yes, I will. When the time is right.’ He said, cryptically while he grinned at her.
‘Well, you’re not sick, are you? You’re sort of shaking and I’m not liking it.’ She was actually worried about him and wanted him to know that.
He wrapped his arms around her, still shaking a little.
‘No, I’m nowhere near being sick. I’ve never felt better, hotness.’ He kissed her forehead.
Sasha sighed. She knew that if he was not sick, he must have a surprise for her and she didn’t like surprises much.
When they arrived at his house, Chester got out first and then opened the door for Sasha. She looked around, but could not see anything suspicious about the house, from the outside.
He made the cab driver carry their bags, took Sasha’s hand and led her to the front door.
‘Are you ready to enter your new home?’ He said, looking like a little boy showing off a Christmas present.
‘I’m ready.’ She said, smiling at him. She knew he had something up his sleeve and it annoyed her a little that she couldn’t figure out what it was.
He gave her a kiss and opened the door.
‘WELCOME HOME!!!!!’ People screamed, and Sasha had almost had a heart attack. She looked around and saw Mike, Brad, Dave, Rob, Joe, their spouses, Chester’s family and some of his other close friends. There were flowers everywhere she looked. White orchids. Her favorite flower. They were draped on the walls, crawling up the banister and put in vases on every table, she could see.
She looked around and gasped. Then she gave Chester a suspicious look.
‘What are you up to?’
‘Me? Nothing. I just gathered everyone and had someone decorate the house, to welcome you home.’ He said, giving her an angelic look.
‘Don’t look at me like that. I’m not buying it.’ She said, sticking her tongue out at him.
He looked hurt.
‘You don’t like it?’
She felt bad now. ‘Are you kidding me?! I love it!’ She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.
After a few hours of eating, drinking and catching up with everyone, Chester called them all into the TV room. He had been talking a lot to Mike, but Sasha couldn’t really blame him. He had missed Mike and had a lot of catching up to do.
She went into the TV room as one of the last people and Chester reached out for her.
‘Hotness. Come here.’ He just said and she didn’t think not to apply.
Mike was looking at her and had this wide smile on his face. ‘What’s going on here?’ She thought, but said nothing as the next thing happened so fast. Or so it seemed, anyway.
Chester turned to look into her eyes and she, again, felt those brown eyes pierce hers.
‘Sasha..’ He started, seeming very nervous now.
The rest of the room seemed to disappear for the next few minutes and Sasha would’ve sworn they had been alone in there.
‘I want to start by welcoming you to L.A., which will now be your home. I can’t tell you how happy I am, to finally be here with you. The past, almost, two years have been the happiest in my life and it’s all because of you. I’ve never met a person who understands me, the way that you do. You can even tell when I’m blushing over the phone, you know me that well. You make me want to be a better man and I think I am, because of you…..’ He was speaking faster now.
‘You sure as hell are!’ Mike laughed.
‘Hush, minion!’ Chester glared at him, but couldn’t help but chuckle a little. He turned his attention back to Sasha.
‘….what I’m trying to say, hotness, is that you complete me. I’ve never felt this way before and I don’t plan to ever feel any different, again. So…on that note…’ He got down on his knees, in front of her and the tears welled up in her eyes, as she realized what he was doing.
‘You’re f**king kidding.’ She whispered.
‘No, I’m not. Sasha Anderson, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?’ He had tears coming down his face now just as she, and most of the people there, did.
She threw herself to her knees in front of him, kissed him all over his face and said.
‘You bet your scrawny ass, I will!’ He put the ring on her finger and then he picked her up and kissed her, while everyone around them applauded.
Mike walked up to Sasha. ‘Congratulations, Sash! I’m so happy for you guys.’
‘Thanks, Mike.’ She said as she hugged him. ‘You knew about this, didn’t you?’ She gave him a suspicious look.
‘Yeah, I did. You know that we all have keys to each other’s houses and Chaz called me about a week ago and asked if I wanted to help him, propose to you. So I’ve been very busy, calling florists, caterers, and stuff. I was afraid there wouldn’t be enough time, because he had called me so late, and I called around a lot. But I think it turned out alright, don’t you?’ He smiled so widely and she couldn’t help but love him as the friend he always was.
‘You guys are f**king nuts, man!’ Sasha laughed. ‘But yes, it looks amazing and I’m so happy right now, I can’t even tell you.’ She said, looking at her finger, where the simple white-gold ring with a single diamond was resting.
Chester walked up to them and hugged them both.
‘Do you like your ring, hotness?’ He asked. He was wearing one just like it, except his didn’t have the diamond in it. The inscription read ‘You complete me. I love you. Chester.’ and the date for this day.
‘I love it so much, bunny. I can’t stop looking at it. I’m glad you didn’t buy me some huge rock.’ She smiled and kissed him.
‘Well, actually Mike should get some credit for it, because he was actually in on the decision making about which ring to buy you, and he suggested these. They just seemed perfect.’ Chester couldn’t stop smiling.
‘Do you guys ever do anything without the other?’
‘Not often.’ Mike laughed, while Chester shook his head in answer of Sasha’s question.
‘Well, thanks to you too, Mike for my lovely ring. I really do love it.’ Sasha hugged him again.
Sasha’s pregnancy was coming along with no problems to speak of. She obviously, had hormonal mood swings, swollen legs and the rest of the normal side affects of pregnancies, but other than that, she was fine.
Chester was like a kid around her, wanting to wait on her, hand and foot and she had to tell him several times that she was pregnant and not ill.
He couldn’t think of all the good things he wanted to do for her, and even though she thought he was really sweet, she did, sometimes, blow up on him when he touched her stomach for, what seemed to be the millionth time that day.
He had wanted to get married as soon as possible, after he proposed, but Sasha wasn’t having it.
‘You think I want to wear my wedding gown, looking like a f**king whale?!’ She had asked him, sounding angry when she really wasn’t.
‘You don’t look like a whale, hotness. You look so beautiful and beaming. And why are you snapping at me? I was just making a suggestion.’ He said, a little hurt.
She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. She felt like she was so big now, that she could barely reach him because the stomach was in her way.
‘I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to snap. I just…really don’t want to wear a wedding gown as long as I look like this. See? I can barely hug you, anymore, I’m so big.’ She tried to calm down and get her mood under control.
‘You can hug me just fine. So what do you suggest about the wedding?’ He couldn’t stop looking at her, she was so beautiful to him.
‘Well, I suggest that we wait until the rug rat is here and I get back to my normal weight and size again. Say, a few months after he or she is born?’ She said.
‘He. And I can live with that.’ He stated, as if he knew what gender the child would be.
Chester had wanted to know the child’s gender so badly, but Sasha had convinced him that it would be no fun, if they knew. That it would ruin the surprise. Chester had agreed, but he was still convinced that it was going to be a boy.
They had talked a little about names, but hadn’t decided on anything. Chester said that they’d know, when he was born and saw what he looked like.
Sasha woke up in the middle of the night, with the most excruciating pain in her abdomen, she had ever felt.
She tried to bend, but quickly realized that she couldn’t. After a few minutes, she realized that she had gone into labor, as her water broke.
‘Chester.’ She said, but he was sound asleep and didn’t hear her.
‘Chester!!!!’ She screamed, as she pounded him on the shoulder.
‘Ow!! What the f**k, woman!’ He exclaimed as he was pretty much beaten to a sudden wake up.
He took one look at Sasha and suddenly felt wide-awake.
‘Is it time?’ He asked, eagerly.
‘f**k yes, it is! Oh man, this hurts so bad!’ She almost shouted at him.
Chester went completely nuts, got out of bed and started running around himself in circles, while trying to find the bag they had packed a few days ago, so it would be ready.
Sasha slowly crawled out of bed and put on a sweat suit, which was pretty much the only thing she would fit into, these days. She got in his way and he stopped.
‘You have got to calm the f**k down, man. You’re running around like a headless chicken and it’s not helping. Now, put on some d**n clothes, while I get the bag.’ She said and looked at him, standing naked in front of her.
‘Oh! Right! Clothes! Ha!’ The poor man was completely confused, she thought. She got the bag out of the closet, while Chester grabbed a pair of jeans and one of his Ve’cel t-shirts and put it on.
When they got to the car, she looked at him. He was just standing there, staring at the car.
‘Keys, Chester? Have you got the keys? We won’t make it far, without them.’ She thought it was kind of cute that he was so excited, but it also pissed her off that, in the middle of her pain, she also had to think for the both of them.
‘Oh right! nuts!’ He said, as he ran back to the house to get the car keys.
When they arrived at the hospital, Sasha was in so much pain, all she could do was scream at the top of her lungs.
d**n, the woman’s got a scream, almost as strong as mine, Chester thought to himself, as he ran next to the gurney the doctors had put Sasha on.
He went with her into the delivery room, never letting go of her hand.
The delivery took around 3 hours and Chester only had to leave the room twice during it all.
Once, because Sasha was bleeding and in so much pain, he couldn’t handle it. And once because she went completely mental at him.
He’d been holding her hand, telling her what a good job she was doing and how much he loved her and was there for her, when she had suddenly screamed at him.
‘What the f**k do you know, you f**king bastard!!!! You’re the reason I’m in this f**king mess in the first place, you not a very nice person!! If you could keep your d**n thingy in your pants, I wouldn’t be here, trying to squeeze this bastard out of my d**n girl thingy!!!!’
Chester had backed away, as if she had kicked him in the face and the doctor had said. ‘Maybe you should go outside for a few minutes. She doesn’t mean any of it, but the pain is getting to her.’
No nuts, Chester had thought to himself as he exited the delivery room and went to sit down.
After a few minutes, one of the nurses had come out and told him that he could come back in. As he entered the delivery room, he saw that another nurse was holding his child in her arms. She looked at him and said ‘Do you want to cut the umbilical cord?’
The tears welled up in his eyes, as he looked at Sasha who looked like she needed to sleep for a week, then he looked at the nurse and said ‘Hell yeah, I do.’
Sasha was absolutely exhausted, but couldn’t help get tears in her eyes, when she saw Chester cut the umbilical cord with a wide smile on his face and tears in his eyes.
The nurse then took the baby to get cleaned and Chester went over to Sasha, kissed her on her forehead and said ‘You did really well, hotness.’
‘I’m sorry I got so mad at you, but it was just the most horrible pain I’ve ever felt and you were the closest one to take it out on.’
‘Hey, don’t worry about it. You scared me nutsless, for once. I didn’t know you had it in you.’ He chuckled, as the nurse came over and put the baby in Sasha’s arms.
The first thing Chester did, was unwrap the baby a little to see the gender because he had been far too excited about the umbilical cord to notice, earlier.
Sasha smiled at him and said ‘He’s a boy. You were right.’
Chester’s face lit up and went ‘I knew it.’
Sasha looked at the baby and said to Chester ‘look what we made. We made a little miracle. You’re a daddy, Chester.’
‘I see him. He is a little miracle, isn’t he? I’m a daddy. And you’re a mommy.’ He said with awe in his voice.
They were both overwhelmed with the emotions, going through all new parents and they cried tears of joy together.
A few days later, Chester picked up Sasha at the hospital and took her and the baby home. He had, on request from Sasha, invited Mike and Anna over so they could be the first ones to see the newest addition to the Bennington family.
When Sasha got out of the car, Mike and Anna had come out of the house, to greet her.
They both looked at the baby in awe and Mike gave Sasha a kiss on her cheek and said. ‘He’s beautiful, Sash. Congratulations. Thank god, he looks like his mother.’
‘Shut up, minion.’ Chester said as he slapped Mike’s shoulder.
‘Thanks, but I think he looks like his daddy and his daddy is beautiful.’ Sasha said. Chester blushed.
Mike hugged Chester. ‘Well done, Chaz. And congratulations, man.’
Anna hugged them both and congratulated them.
‘So. What’s his name?’ Mike asked.
‘Tyler Bennington.’ Chester proudly announced.
‘Tyler. Yeah, he looks like a Tyler, doesn’t he?’ Mike stated. ‘Cool name, dude.’ He said, directed at Tyler.
‘We had talked about Tyler, Lee and Draven. I was leaning mostly towards Tyler, if he was a boy and when we looked at him, there was no doubt about Tyler.’ Sasha explained.
Mike and Anna only stayed for about an hour, because Sasha was still tired after the delivery and she and Chester really wanted to try and get some rest.
Sasha put Tyler down in his crib and went to lie down on the bed, next to Chester. She sighed.
‘I can’t believe he’s finally here. I don’t think I’ve loved anyone or anything that much in my entire life.’ She said happily, as she had curled up in Chester’s arms.
‘I know. It’s mind blowing, isn’t it?’ Chester agreed.
‘It sure is. I love you so much, Chester.’ She said, slowly drifting off into dreamland.
‘I love you too, Sasha.’ He said and he could hear her breathing change as she fell asleep. ‘And thank you.’ He added quietly and wrapped himself around her.
The next few months went up in diapers, formula and planning of the wedding.
Sasha and Chester had decided that they didn’t have the energy for a huge wedding, so they would just have an intimate one, in their garden, with their families and their closest friends.
Sasha went gown shopping with Chester’s sister, Christine, and Chester was trying everything to make his sister tell him what the gown looked like.
‘Look, bro. It’s not going to happen, so you might as well give it a f**king rest.’ She said, messing up his hair, which was becoming a little long.
‘Aww, you don’t like me anymore.’ He said, pouting like a child.
‘Yes, I do. But I’d like you more if you got your hair cut, before the wedding.’ She looked at him with a strict look.
‘Yes, M’am.’ He said and clicked his heals together.
